Based on the last check-in, I revised any loose ends from my book. I revised my writing, chose photos that were more clear, I started to think about how to use pastels intentionally, and I wanted to ensure that the emotion is prevalent throughout the book. I’m happy with how the book is looking, but there are some loose ends I did not end up fixing just yet that I will finalize by the 11th. Furthermore, I started my motion companion piece, but not as much as I’d like as I wanted to focus on the book. However, I will ensure that I get the first scene complete by the 11th. During this production stage, the biggest challenge I have felt was that I was feeling some restraint on being able to be raw with my emotions within my layout. Some layouts were stronger and filled with emotion, while a majority of them were flat and did not provide the emotion I anticipated. However, based on this week’s progress, I feel proud of what I have accomplished, and I’m looking forward to making the final refinements for the presentation.
