My critiques last week involved the discussion of the relationships between the imagery and typography. They weren't working as well as they should be. I needed to make a lot of refinements, which included changing pictures, resolving the context of the imagery on each spread, and ultimately, figuring out what the visual language might be for this book. I also started refining the usage of pastels within the book and I started to think about how they might work with the context of the imagery.

I also changed the title of my thesis to Obscure. I felt that it fit the theme better

Furthermore, I also refined the layout of my book to ensure it is dynamic. I resolved the layout for the table of contents and designer's notes, and I started to get an idea of what my overall system will be for the layout.
